Vaping-Related Illness May Be In Colorado
Across the nation, we have heard and seen stories of people who have been hospitalized due to vaping, and now that story may have made its way into Colorado.
Health officials in the state have sent a notification to emergency rooms and doctors across the state telling them to be watchful for the illness that has hospitalized dozens.
100 people across twelve states have reported illnesses as a result of vaping. The only thing that seems to be consistent with all cases is they were vaping nicotine or THC before becoming ill.
Many of the cases reported have resulted in hospitalization with many on respirators, unable to breathe on their own.
Although no one has died from this, state officials are concerned, as Colorado has one of the highest numbers of high school age kids vaping.
Colorado Department of Public Health would not comment on who or where in the state this possible case is, but officials continue to investigate the cause of the problem.
