When I hear of things like this, I wish I would have stopped by and supported them more. It's been a very difficult year for all business owners here in Western Colorado and we are finding out that a mom and pop coffee shop that was opened in Palisade has now closed for now.

There was a sign posted on the Purple Cow Coffee Shop and on their Facebook page that read:

Due to unforeseen circumstances we are closing on December 1st, 2020. Thank you for your patronage and we will see you again soon.

The news of Purple Cow Coffee Shop is spreading quickly and without exact details, no one was really sure what happened. Although, we all immediately thought it had to do with the pandemic and loss of business that all owners have been dealing with.

On that same social media post, the owners of Purple Cow Coffee Shop continued to say that they will keep us posted on a reopening date. They are hoping it will be sooner rather than later. Also mentioning that it is tough right now for the mom and pops businesses of the world to survive right now.

There is no doubt this year has been difficult for so many businesses, and with COVID restrictions it can be difficult to visit these small businesses compared to what we are used to. But we have to jump through whatever hopes necessary to support these businesses so we don't see more of them having to close, even temporarily.
