One of the many unusual things that we have had to change and adapt to because of the COVID-19 pandemic we have dealt with since March has been the change to the always fun 'Market On Main' in downtown Grand Junction. A weekly event where you can purchase locally made goods and produce while enjoying some local music and possibly even have dinner while you're there.

As the market this year got started it was relocated near the convention center as it had more space for people to practice social distancing. But according to Downtown Grand Junction on Facebook, The Market on Main is moving back to Main Street.

The change back to Main street will take place this upcoming Thursday (August 13th) with the market being between 4th and 5th streets downtown Grand Junction. Due to public health guidelines, there will still be safety protocols in places such as one-way walking paths, sanitizing stations, and limited entry and exit points just like you see at all businesses right now.

As of now, masks are not required but strongly suggested for everyone in attendance at the market. Customers are being asked to keep 6 feet distance between themselves and other shoppers and vendor staff.

If you haven't made it to the market yet this year you can expect to find farm and agricultural products, prepackaged foods, wine and spirits, CBD and medicinal plants, food and snack vendors, coffee, pet products, hygiene products, and lots of other handmade and locally made items.
