Reliving the 90s at Everclear in Grand Junciton
Growing up in the nineties was a pretty fun time for me. So going to the Everclear So Much for the Afterglow concert last night was pretty fun.
The night started off with Fastball taking the stage, and they rocked out. They got the crowd involved really well. Especially when there older 90s hits like The Way and You're an Ocean. Once they played those songs people really started getting into it. They were also pretty cool guys and got to talk to them for a little bit and was even able to take a picture with them.
Vertical Horizon was next up on the lineup and they did not disappoint at all. They engaged the crowd really well. They put in a good mix of their new and old music. The older songs still had the 90s appeal to all of us nineties kids. But they had high energy throughout the show. You could tell the crowd appreciated the fact that they never once stopped through their show.
The headliner, Everclear, still had the rock appeal that they had in the nineties. They all came on stage in tuxedos which was a really cool thing to see. Of course, they had to take off the jackets because the place was completely packed. Everclear rocked out and showed why they are going on tour. These are guys I wanted to see perform when I was a kid. Waiting until I was an adult where I could appreciate it more now was probably the best decision I could have made.
All three of these bands performances were fantastic. You could tell everyone there was having a great time. Meeting one the bands I actually grew up listening to was the highlight of my evening.
It was a trip down memory lane that I never thought I would take.
