The 2016 Fuoco Motor Company Downtown Car Show was a big hit with more than 170 cars on display in downtown Grand Junction.

This is always one of the best car shows of the year, and this one was no exception. In fact, this may have been the best one in several years, because it was extremely difficult for us to select the KOOLest Car in the Show. There were so many outstanding candidates.

While there were quite a large number of deserving cars, it was the 1939 Ford Woody Station Wagon belonging to Wayne Mettle of Fruita that got the nod for the KOOLest Car in the show.

Jack Kimmel of Grand Junction won the award for Best in Show 1st place and you can see his sharp-looking 1948 Five-Window Pickup in the photo gallery above.

Our photo gallery represents a small sample of the great wheels that were on display in downtown Grand Junction. If you couldn't make it down for the car show, check out these beauties.
