Grand Junction travelers will be heading to a new location to catch the next bus out of town.

Bustang has announced its bus boarding location will be changing beginning February 1, moving from the familiar bus station location at 5th and Ute. Greyhound is also changing locations.

Bustang will move its loading and drop-off location next to the Grand Valley Transit downtown transfer facility on South Avenue between S. Fifth and Sixth streets. This is the new location for both Bustang’s West Line and Bustang Outrider’s Durango – Grand Junction Line. Greyhound will move to a nearby area on South Avenue just east of the Bustang stops.

Bustang is operated by the Colorado Department of Transportation with service leaving Grand Junction daily Monday through Friday at 12:35pm. The service travels across the state of Colorado.

Greyhound offers travel to Colorado destinations like Denver, Vail, and Fort Collins but also to cross-country destinations like Salt Lake City, Los Angeles, San Diego, El Paso, and more.

For many years, travelers to and from Grand Junction have boarded at the station at 5th and Ute. It's been a familiar sight but that's about to change. The change in location won't change the service, it will only change the look of a very familiar corner in downtown Grand Junction.
