The Grand Junction Kiwanis Pancake Day and Fun Fest is coming up and the event promises to be much more than just  yummy pancakes.

This is the 49th annual Pancake Day, so most people are familiar with the event and the wonderful breakfast you can get for just $6. The pancakes, eggs, ham, coffee, and juice are without question well worth a $6 investment in the local community.

But, not only can you enjoy a delicious breakfast, there will be 50 vendors, live music from a 20-piece jazz band, and a silent auction that will benefit the Grand Junction Kiwanis Club and their benevolent endeavors. One of the items up for bids will be four tickets to Disneyland.

And, that's not all. There will be plenty of games and activity booths for the kids as well. The kids will enjoy bump and jumps, and touch-a-truck fun as well.

This is truly a family event and a great way to support our local community. Money raised from this event will go to local non-profits that benefit young children.

This year's Pancake Day is Saturday, June 11 7AM-2PM at Two Rivers Convention Center. Tickets are available from any Kiwanian and at the door.
