First Ever Kiwanis Clean Up at Blue Heron In Grand Junction
Taking care of our waterways, and ensuring a better tomorrow for all here in Grand Junction is the hope of the Kiwanis Club of Grand Junction.
For the first time, the Kiwanis Club of Grand Junction along with volunteers from here in Grand Junction will be holding a clean up of the Blue Heron Riverfront.
The event is taking place at Blue Heron section of the Riverfront Trail Saturday, April 2nd, from 10:00 AM to Noon. The Kiwanis Club is asking for your help to make the area beautiful. If you would like to volunteer, all you simply have to do is be at the Junior Service League Park off the Redlands Parkway just before 10 am.
This is the local club's effort as part of the worldwide Kiwanis One Day, whereby clubs from across the globe work on a community service project. It's part of Kiwanis's mission to improve the world, one child and one community at a time.
