Jam Packed Weekend in Grand Junction Brings Community Together
Grand Junction delivers another fantastic weekend.
Local Jam 18 at the Edgewater Brewery was exactly what happened. It was a "Jam" packed weekend to say the least.
34 bands, two stages, and three days of music, family fun, and some serious local talent. Wow! This was my first local jam and I was so impressed with the talented souls we have here in the Grand Valley.
I've heard a few of the bands that played this weekend, such as, Jack + Jill and Wave 11. I wanted to go just to hear them if nothing else, but this weekend was so much more than that. Not only crazy good tunes, but watching the community support local music was epic.
Music plays such an important role on the heart. It brings diversity and harmony together. So cool to watch.
On top of all that, Toto in concert right next store to local jam Saturday night. A blast from the past. An amazing performance by the classic group.
I love when bands talk to the crowd and give some background and history to their songs. It was sweet listening to them talk about their hits, and then end the night with Weezer's song, Hash Pipe.
Ending my jammed packed weekend I had to go wild and grab some Freddy's frozen custard. It put the cherry on top.
