Colorado Minimum Wage

For those of us who work for minimum wage and was hoping for a raise, it has been put on hold, again. The attempt to raise the wage in the state of Colorado has failed in the state Legislature.

The Senate committee voted 3-2 Wednesday not to allow local governments to set wages above the statewide minimum wage of $8.23 an hour.

This is a big blow to those who were hoping to see that extra money in their wallets. There has been no word on whether or not this will be brought up in another session or if this word is final. Major bummer for those who work so hard to make ends meet.
