**Each week I’ll feature fun activities you and your kids can enjoy for the rest of summer vacation

School is now back in session, but that doesn't mean that you can't take your kids some place fun during the weekends.

Why not feel like Dorothy and go see the lions, tigers, and bears, oh yes!

If you're looking for something fun and education, why not head to one of these wildlife locations.

My family and I have been to the Denver Zoo a few times and every time they seem to get bigger. A baby Malayan Tapir was born back in May and is growing pretty big now. My favorite animal at the zoo would have to be the Red Panda. I have never seen one until I went here. You and the kids will have a blast.

Mission: Wolf is not at all a zoo. This is a sanctuary that is home to wolves and wolf/dog crosses. They take care of 33 wolves and wolf/dog crosses that were born in cages. They made this place so that these beautiful animals have a place to live. It is also a place for people to go to get a better relationship with these animals. I really want to go to this place with my kids to see how they interact with them.

The Cheyenne Mountain Zoo is one of the coolest places to go. It is also the only mountainside zoo in America. So if you haven't gone to see this cool place, well you're missing out. They have animals from all over the world at this zoo. You should check out how adorable a Canadian Lynx is. You will love it here.

The Wild Animal Sanctuary is a BIG to do on my list. I just recently learned about this place and have wanted to go ever since.  There are over 400 different kinds of lions, wolves, leopards, bears and that is just naming a few. It has more than enough room for these animals to grow without a problem. You need to take your kids to this place because it will blow your minds.

The Pueblo Zoo is a really fun zoo I haven't been to in awhile. Last time I went I was with my Grandma and she made so we had a blast. I would love to go back here with my kids and show them what a red kangaroo looks like up close. I would also like to see that up close myself. There is an animal there I have never heard about before and would love to see it. It is called the Rock Hyraxes it looks like a huge guinea pig but is actually more related to the elephant. It will knock your kid's socks off.

All of these places are worth going to. There is no way you could go wrong with any of these choices. Have some fun with those kiddos!
