Dave Bradley’s Five Simple Things to Help Out on Earth Day

Today (April 22) is Earth Day, and we need to make sure this place stays around for a long time -- it is the place we call home after all. Take a look at my five simple things you can do to help preserve our planet.

These are some of my ideas and thoughts on how we can help the Earth and environment and simple things really do make a difference.

I realize trying something new can be difficult and that is why I created this list to help you out.

Recycle

Recycling Bins are everywhere, so why not ake time to use them? I don't know how many times I have plastic bottles littering my car when it's just as easy to pick them up and drop them in a recycling bin.

Plant a Tree

Planting a tree can be a fun activity for the whole family. This will not only teach kids to enjoy nature, but to help the environment as well.

Adopt a Highway

Why not adopt a highway or volunteer to help clean the highway? This is something that I love doing with a group of friends. You will be amazed what you will find on the side of the road sometimes.

Ride a Bike to Work

Riding a bike to work a couple of days a week will help out the earth, and will be amazing for your health. We live in the most beautiful area here in the Grand Valley, take some time to enjoy it.

Spread the Word

I think the most important thing to do on Earth Day is to spread the word. Help a friend, a child, or an adult learn simple ways to save the land, water, sky, we all live and love every day.
