Crime of the Week: Shots Fired, Subject Pushed Through Window
The Grand Junction Police Department is investigating a recent crime and asking for help to catch the suspects. It's the Crime of the Week.
In the early morning hours of Sunday, May 19, officers were called to the scene of a reported fight in the 400 block of Main Street. Witnesses on the scene said they heard shots fired from a "large group of Hispanic males fighting."
One person apparently was pushed through the window of Colorado Graphyx at 419 Main Street. Police found property damage estimated at over $20,000 that appeared to have been made by bullets.
If you know anything about this incident or the whereabouts of the suspects, you are asked to call Crime Stoppers at 970-241-7867. Information that leads to an arrest could result in a $1000 reward.
