Elderly Grand Junction Resident Reported Missing

Local authorities are asking for the public's help in locating a missing Grand Junction man.

Stuart Thompson has not been seen or heard from in several weeks, prompting friends to express their concern.

What We Know About Grand Junction's Stuart Thompson

Thompson is 69 years old and is described as a white male 5' 10", 160 lbs., gray hair, green eyes, and a gray beard and mustache. According to the Grand Junction Police Department, Thompson would often be seen walking in the downtown area with a big walking stick.

Police are asking for help in locating Thompson so they can ensure his safety and welfare. It's been reported he has medical issues and was often seen walking on the 5th Street Bridge.

Based on public response on the Grand Junction Police Department Facebook page, a lot of people are familiar with Mr. Thompson and are reporting possible recent sightings in Grand Junction. One person mentioned the fact that Thompson is usually wearing duct-taped shoes. Many people on the police department's Facebook page expressed their concern for his well-being.
