What Exactly is a Mullet?
You can take your pick of a couple of popular definitions for "mullet." According to Merriam-Webster:
mullet -
noun
- any of a family (Mugilidae) of chiefly marine bony fishes with an elongate rather stout body
- a hairstyle in which the hair is short on the sides and top and long at the back
Several Divisions to Choose From
Don't think for a minute this competition is limited to just men. There's a Children's division, and even a Femullet division.
Kudos to our Colorado finalist Reis Caldwell. He was up against some stiff competition. Check out the gallery and you'll see he was up against reps from mullet-savvy states like Kentucky and Alabama. Oddly, states such as Wisconsin and Michigan had strong showings in this event.
