Colorado High School Student Lands Feature Role in Disney Movie

Collin Blackford, a junior at Denver's D'Evelyn High School, has landed his biggest role yet with a new feature film on Disney Plus.

He'll be in the feature called "Stargirl."

Blackford has been acting since he was 5 years old in local independent films in Colorado. You might have seen him in a Warren Tech film "The Wolves" and he has a web-series called "The Reunion."

Blackford said this to 9 News Denver:

It was really kind of mind-blowing to go from independent stuff out here in Colorado to a huge set like that and to see how many working pieces there are.

As Blackford continues to juggle school with a full-time acting career he is looking into colleges in Los Angeles so he can continue along the road of performing.
