Longmont High School Evacuated Monday Due to Unidentified Odor
Better to err on the side of safety, especially when it involves kids. Longmont High School evacuated on Monday after an odor was detected.
Parents of kids who attend Longmont High School were alerted on Monday (September 23, 2019) that the school had been evacuated due to an unidentifiable odor that was detected inside the school.
Longmont High School has been evacutated due to an unidentifiable odor detected in the school. All students are safe and district official and the Longmont Fire Department are currently investigating. We will continue to update parents as more information is made available.
Not long after, it was determined that there was no issue inside the school and it was cleared for re-entry, just in time for lunch.
There was speculation on the 'What's Up Longmont?' Facebook page that it was coming from nearby construction.
