Parades are a part of many towns' Fourth of July celebration and there are several parades to choose from in Western Colorado. So, don your red, white, and blue and celebrate Independence Day with a patriotic parade.

    The Grand Junction Symphony is coordinating this year's 4th of July parade, sponsored by Fidelity Mortgage. The parade will begin on 9th street and head down Main Street to 3rd.

    July 4, 10:00am

    Montrose area clubs, bands, churches, organizations, schools, dance/drill teams, and businesses are encouraged to take part in this popular community 4th of July parade. Registration deadline is Wednesday, July 1.

    Children of all ages can decorate their bikes, big wheels, skateboards and scooters for this special 4th of July parade in Rifle from City Hall to Heinze Park where there will be games like shoe scramble, watermelon seed spitting,hree legged race, and more.

    Palisade's 4th of July celebration includes a parade, BBQ, beer garden, games, entertainment and food. The time of the parade will be announced.

    ASPEN

    July 4, 11:00am

    Aspen’s Old Fashioned 4th of July Parade is one of the oldest and largest parades in the country.  Harleys will start the parade at 11am from Aspen and Main.

    This 4th of July parade is billed as "the only parade you see twice", up and down Redstone Blvd.  You will find the community of Redstone about 45 minutes southeast of Glenwood Springs.

    This small-town parade goes down Main Street with cash prizes and trophies in various categories.
