Colorado residents should be on high alert: scams in relation to the latest stimulus checks are becoming more and more active every day.

Towards the beginning of the new year, the U.S. government announced it would be sending out a second round of stimulus checks worth $600 for many Americans, with stipulations based on income and household. However— and I faced this issue with my $1,200 check— for some, it takes a long time to come, which means scammers are able to more easily pounce on your desperation for the cash everyone else around you seemed to get so easily.
