Weekend Warrior–Hiking and Climbing in Western Colorado

If you live on the western slope and it gets above 40 degrees in February you go outside and hike, climb or bike in one of the most picturesque places in Colorado!

This Weekend Warrior activity included not only a hike to Devils Kitchen, but we were also hunting for Dinosaur bones, with swords!! If you have never hiked Devils Kitchen, then you are missing out on a very easy hike with great views! The hike took us about 2 hours (round trip) with multiple dinosaur spotting stops (bunny and quail tracks) it was a great time! Advice: wear water resistant hiking shoes!

As we started the hike I noticed a group of people rock climbing, I have always wanted to try that! So I waited for a awhile and one of the guys shared with me that they have a free group 'Western Slope Adventures' and this group meets up and climbs, bikes or hikes together every weekend! So Cool!
