Wedding Day Fail. Is this Bride out of Line?

It is pretty common practice nowadays to see people gathered in public places in large groups be it a restaurant, a bar, your kids school events and people are staring at their phone, but this Wedding takes the proverbial cake, so to speak.

According to the Daily Mail this bride was walking down the isle by her father in this 2008 wedding in San Diego California.

The preacher goes through his matrimonial drill talking of the virtues of marriage, for better or worse and yada,yada,yada. That's when the bride reaches down the front of her wedding dress to retrieve her cell phone. She not only looks at her phone, she starts texting. Dad obviously doesn't look to impressed but says nothing.

The bride eventually put it back in her wedding dress but you can't help but wonder about a few things.

Is the groom making a mistake? Is this bride already married .. to her phone?

When is technology to much? When it (technology) controls us is usually a good starting point to technological intervention.

Do you think she is displaying bad manners? What about the groom? Is this a sign of things to come?
