Walmart Neighborhood Market Opens In Grand Junction

The Grand Junction area now has a new Wal-Mart Neighborhood Market. It is a smaller version of Wal-Mart and primarily focuses on groceries and general items. This is the very first Neighborhood Market in the Grand Junction area according to KKCO. Located across from Central High School on Warrior Way on the I-70 business loop.

The store will over 24 hour a day service, along with a drive through pharmacy and a fuel station.

According to Wal-Mart, the smaller store is going to offer shoppers easier parking, and less crowded isles.

Grand Junction residents are thrilled. Jessica Busheri said:

“It's close to my house and it’s a lot smaller than the other Walmart’s, so I can just get in, and get what I need really quick,”

The location of the Neighborhood Market is perfect, as it focuses in an area of town that needs a convenient location for groceries and gas.
