Would You Believe This Tortilla Is Actually a Working Record That Plays Music?
Most music is digital these days, which makes this innovation all the more remarkable.
The team at Rapture Records decided to make a record out of a tortilla after a video of a tortilla on a record player went viral earlier this year. They etched the tortilla with a laser cutter and were on their way to making the next big top 40 hit.
Well, okay probably not that big of a hit, but the song -- "The Mexican Hat Dance" -- did indeed play.
Playing records is old school, so we guess playing this well-known Mexican number is, ahem, olé school.
Now, if you'll excuse us, we're going to try and make a 8-track player out of a used Capri Sun box.
