1. Quizlet- Designed as a flashcard app, Quizlet does everything from Math to Language studies. It comes loaded for plenty of tools for students of all ages and can help you create your own flashcards to make studying easier. (Free)

2. EasyBib- If you have ever tried to do a bibliography for a paper and do all the footnotes and such the correct way so you do not get points counted off by your teacher, this is the app for you. (Free to try $20 dollars for Pro version)

3. Evernote- I love this app! Anytime you need to take notes, you can simply open this up, make your notes, save and it is available to you on almost any device. It also helps to remind you of important times and dates that you need to keep track of. (Free)

4. StudyBlue- For all of our Grand Junction and area High Schools and CMU, this is the app designed just for you! This app is pretty amazing to help you memorize items and studies. You can also import all your Evernote into this app. (An annual fee of $84 is required if you want to gain access to millions of other study guides)

5. Algeo Graphing Calculator- How I wish I had this app when I went to school. It is a calculator for your phone, almost a super calculator! Algeo will it draw functions, calculate handle most scientific calculator moves, from radians to hyperbolic functions. For a $1.99 fee, you can also allow the app to calculate more and do additional functions. No more searching in stores for a scientific calculator!

These apps are a great way to get your kids off on the right foot, plus with most schools now going to iPads, tablets and such, it is a great way for the kids to fit right in!
