Elk in Estes Park decided to take the short route and caused a traffic jam.

9NEWS (KUSA) in Denver shared a video of what a real Colorado traffic jam looks like. A herd of elk took over Estes Park and take special note of the male who decided it was time to round up his women with an ear-piercing call.

This is one of the many reasons we wouldn't trade this state for anything.
