See What Denver Looks Like During ‘Stay at Home’ Order
Yesterday, the mayor of Denver placed a "Stay at Home" order for the city to help keep the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) at bay.
Photographers and videographers shared images and videos of the city during the "lockdown."
Denver residents are to stay at home and are prohibited from non-essential travel. They are allowed to leave their house for exercise, to get essential supplies and that's about it.
Josh Bauer Images shared this video of downtown Denver in the Our Colorado | Through your photos Facebook group that shows what Denver looked like around 8 p.m. yesterday (March 23).
This Facebook group is full of great photos around Denver during last night's first night of "Stay at Home."
This video of Larimer Square looks eerily empty. Or these photos that were done in the style of "28 Days Later."
The initial "Stay at Home" order stated that liquor stores and marijuana dispensaries would have to close. That order has been lifted as long as the establishments follow strict social distancing guidelines. This video shows what it was like when people thought they'd be without booze.
Denver is looking like a regular Colorado ghost town.
