Salvation Army Grand Junction Taking Applications for Angel Tree
We all know that 2020 has been very difficult. Especially for those who have had to deal with job loss or a drastic income loss due to the unexpected COVID-19 pandemic. But don't feel like you have to navigate this very difficult situation by yourself.
First I want to let you know there are some tremendous counselors in Western Colorado if you need to talk things out with someone. Next, if you're struggling with how you're going to make Christmas happen this year for your family, you are in luck.
Just a few days ago the amazing people at The Salvation Army Grand Junction announced they would be taking applications once again for people to get on the Angel Tree. This will only be open until Sunday, December 13th, so apply now if you need some assistance.
To be accepted you will need to show some documentation such as a photo ID and birth certificates for your children. You will need to upload photos of the documents. But this is a small task to make sure a child had a Christmas gift later this month.
If you want to help out this holiday season and make an impact in our community but you don't have the funds to make a monetary donation, you can always volunteer your time as a bell ringer for The Salvation Army here in Grand Junction.
