Round Two: The Mix 104.3 Pet of the Week is Sam the Man Again

The Mix 104.3 Pet of the Week this week is Sam the Man. This is Sam's second time as our Pet of the Week and we're determined to find the perfect home for him.

We recognized Sam as soon we saw him because this is his second time being the Mix 104.3 Pet of the Week. Sweet Sam is up for adoption right now at Roice-Hurst Humane Society in Grand Junction and here's what you should know about him.

The very first thing we want to say about Sam is that he's a sweet boy who wants nothing but your attention. Sam just wanted to lean against us or put his paw on us the whole time we were at Roice-Hurst, which was perfectly fine with us.

The Mix 104.3 Pet of the Week is about 6 1/2 years old and is a labrador mix. Sam is mostly black, with a few grey and white spots on his paws and chest. He has beautiful, big brown eyes that just scream 'take me home, you won't regret it.'

Roice-Hurst Humane Society told us that he's a great dog who just needs a loving home. Sam is a very people orientated dog who needs a little help losing his 'quarantine fifteen/baby fat.' The Mix 104.3 Pet of the Week could stand to lose about 10-20 pounds and would love if you could help him out with that by taking him out on walks and playing with him.
