Road Trip Time: Grand Junction’s Top Three Day Trip Destinations
It's time to hit the road and go on a road trip. Your road trip doesn't have to be all weekend long, or even overnight. These are Grand Junction's favorite day trip destinations.
Sometimes we don't have the time (or funds) for an overnight/weekend trip, and that's where day trips come in.
We have so much to do and see here in Western Colorado and I wanted to see where you like to day trip to. After asking you on our Facebook, these are Grand Junction's favorite day trip destinations.

Moab
1 hour 45 minsMoab is Grand Junction third favorite place to take a day trip. This makes sense, considering how close it is. There's a lot to do and see in Moab -- like the famous Arches National Park. After I do some exploring, I always make sure to stop at Milt's Stop & Eat.

Glenwood Springs
1 hour 20 minsWhen it comes to day trips, Glenwood Springs is Grand Junction's second favorite place to go to. Glenwood Springs has hot springs, an amusement park, shopping, restaurants and a whole lot of hiking.

Ouray
1 hour 50 minsOuray is Grand Junction's number one favorite day trip destination. Ouray is known as the Switzerland of America and is well known for its hot springs, hiking, and ice climbing. I've always heard nothing but good things about Ouray and seeing that it's a #1 day-trip destination, I think it'll be my next one.
