There are a lot of bicycles stolen in Grand Junction and many bikes are recovered. Without registration, finding their owners is a real challenge.

The Mesa County Sheriff's Office say they recover between 100 and 140 bicycles every year, but because so few are registered, only a fraction of those are ever reunited with their owners.

Registering your bike is easy. Just download and fill out the registration form, print out a picture of the bike, and take the form and photo to the Sheriff's Office.
