Colorado is certainly a beautiful place to live but that's not the only favorable trait that Colorado offers. They also have some incredibly entertaining festivals like the Frozen Dead Guy Days.

Frozen Dead Guy Days are celebrated in Nederland, Colorado. Nederland is a sweet town that has a rustic charm and the Frozen Dead Guy Days for the last 18 years.

This whole weekend bash is dedicated to Grandpa Bredo who is over 110 years old and has spent the last 30 years on ice.

Grandpa Bredo died in 1989 that's when he was put on dry ice in hopes to come back to life in the future. There were many challenges along the way to preserve his body but grandpa is still well taken care of and lives in a Tuff Shed, frozen in the hills above Nederland.

Known to be one of the most fun, cold, kookiest festivals in the world. Coffin races, frozen T-shirt contest, costumed Polar Plunging, Frozen Salmon Toss, just to name a few happenings. Of course, there will be music, food, and adult beverages that thousands will enjoy.

Darn. I've been wanting to go to this shindig for a few years now. Unfortunately, I'm going to be missing out in some silly shenanigans again this year. Next year it's a must.
