The CBD strain Charlotte's Webb was named after a Colorado kid, Charlotte Figi. Charlotte Figi has unfortunately passed away battling coronavirus/COVID-19.

Charlotte Figi was a 13-year-old girl who had uncontrollable seizures due to a rare form of epilepsy. In 2013, her family turned to medical marijuana after traditional treatments almost killed her, according to 9News.

After Charlotte started using CBD for her seizures, she went from having 300 seizures in a week to zero, just in the first week. According to 9News. Stanley Brothers in Colorado Springs created a CBD strain and it was named Charlotte's Web, after Charlotte.

Unfortunately, Charlotte Figi recently passed away while fighting COVID-19. She was only 13-years-old. According to 9News, numerous family members have tested positive for coronavirus.
