Mitsubishi resurrects an old adult contemporary hit in a new commercial highlighting the features of its 2014 Outlander Sport.

Bobby Caldwell's 1978 song 'What You Won't Do for Love,' taken from the album of the same name, supplies the audio for the minute-long ad, titled 'New Beauty.' Though an attractive woman gets behind the wheel, the "new beauty" is the car itself. The love song acts as an ode to the vehicle as Caldwell sings, "I guess you wonder where I've been / I search to find a love within / I came back to let you know / Got a thing for you and I can't let go."

Viewers see the Mitsubishi pull out of a driveway on a dark street at night and head into the city, with the moon and the bright city lights leading the way. "There's a new beauty in town: the 2014 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport," a narrator says as the commercial fades out.

'What You Won't Do for Love' reached the Top 10, making it the most successful single of Caldwell's career. Jessie Ware and Boyz II Men are among the artists who have covered the song, while Tupac Shakur and Aaliyah have sampled it.
