Mike Posner has had some crazy experiences in Colorado. First, he was bitten by a rattlesnake in August and now he just climbed the tallest 14er, Mount Elbert.

Musician Mike Posner walked 2,851 miles across America from New Jersey all the way to California. He spent six months on this journey to learn about himself, become comfortable with comfort and become a better, tougher person. During this journey, he walked through Colorado where he was bitten by a baby rattlesnake.

It took three weeks for Mike Posner to recover from the rattlesnake bite and he still kept going after and finished his walk across America. Mike decided to return to Colorado, but this time for a different reason.

He just came to Colorado at the beginning of January to summit our state's highest/tallest mountain, Mount Elbert. While climbing the 14er, he realized there was a false summit. According to his Instagram, he says it appeared to be the highest point, and then realized the actual summit is hours away. He said 'these moments test me mentally.'

Mike Posner preserved through the wind and snow and made it to the top. He posted the below once he got to the top. At 14,440 feet this is the highest Mike Posner has ever climbed. We're glad that Mike came back to Colorado for a good experience, maybe it was to make up for the last time he was here.
