Manure Spill Causes Messy Commute in Adams County

An accident in Adams County this moring between a motorcycle and a semi carrying manure caused a severe slowdown on Interstate 76 near Commerce City.

Both drivers were taken to the hospital as a result of the injuries they suffered in the accident. The cause of the crash is under investigation, but for those traveling that route this morning, the commute will be slow and is sure to be, well, aromatic.

The crash occurred on eastbound I-76 Between I-70 and I-25.

Officials are encouraging commuters this morning to take an alternate route as they work on getting the highway cleaned off and reopened to full traffic.
