I love the ladies of the 80s and there were so many that truly rocked our socks off. I've come up with my top five ladies that rocked the 80s. Do you agree?

    Laura Branigan -- 'Self Control'

Laura Branigan was such a superstar, who was taken from us too early. I really wanted to include her in my top five because everyone knew and loved her music, yet she never had a number-one hit.

Tina Turner -- 'What's Love Got To Do With It'

Tina Turner had the hair, she still to this day has the most amazing legs ever! Still performing, I had the chance to see her in Kansas City, and she performed for over 3 hours, WITHOUT stopping!

Bonnie Tyler -- 'Total Eclipse of the Heart'

    3. Bonnie Tyler's "Total Eclipse of the Heart" was one of the biggest power ballads of the 80s. Bonnie started out with "It's a Heartache," but that song did not have the staying power of this hit. She also continued to make hits for movies like "Top Gun" with "Holding Out For A Hero"

Pat Benatar -- 'Hit Me With Your Best Shot'

Nobody rocked the 80s, in my opinion, better than Pat Benatar. She is still on tour today, playing blues and singing jazz.

Kim Carnes -- 'Bette Davis Eyes'

Who doesn't love Kim Carnes' 'Bette Davis Eyes'? This song spent nine weeks ranked No. 1 on the US Billboard 100 charts.
