I love this.

I love that the Circle K Kiwanis Club at Colorado Mesa University and project Linus took the time to make blankets for children that have been hospitalized for one reason or another.

I remember when my son got meningitis years ago. The pain and trauma he went through during that time of his life broke my heart but one thing that seemed to calm his little heart was his blanket.

The project is intended to bring a safe feeling of home to the children by having a soft blanket to comfort them.

Many children have been traumatized by being in the hospital and these blankets provide a sense of security.

According to KKCO Channel 11, the president of the Circle K Club, Sydney Klumb has had the opportunity to see both the giving and receiving side with this project.

Her brother was blessed with a blanket while he was at Children's Hospital. Klumb stated, "that her brother still has his blanket and that it was really awesome."

I think it's really awesome too and my son even though now grown he still has his blanket on his bed as well.
