Kangaroo Yoga in Golden: Yeah, It’s a Real Thing

'Kangaroo Yoga' was never written on my bucket list because...well, honestly, I never really considered that it would be a real thing that would happen.

But oh, is it real, and it's happening in Golden, Colorado.

At Zoo Chateau in Golden, you can do yoga with kangaroos Bindi and Rooney. Yoga mats are provided (since outside mats may spread pathogens harmful to the animals) and no yoga experience is required.

You can also book a private yoga event with the 'roos for a $10 additional charge, but Zoo Chateau has a few warnings: firstly, participate at your own risk. The kangaroos are likely to get "feisty", but there will be a referee there to assist and take care of the animals.
