Sears Holding company, who own and operate K-Mart stores have announced the closure of 68 additional stores.

CNBC is reporting more closures of K-Mart stores around the country. According to the company, it will be closing stores that are proven to be unprofitable.

The scheduled time frame of the closures will be mostly in July. Once the stores are closed there will be soon to follow, liquidation sales.

Fortunately, as of this time the Grand Junction K-Mart store is NOT on the list. The question that remains is for how long. With the stocks in the company continuing to plummet, it is unknown at this time, if there will be even more closures in the up and coming months.
