Every year a group of my girlfriends and I get all dressed up  in every hue of pink possible and strut our stuff at the Annual Walk for Life --  I like to call it "plaster pink." Will you be walking on October the 6th for the Junior Service League for the 15th Annual Walk 4 Life?

Breast Cancer Awareness month is October and each year we have walks, hikes and dinners to raise money. The Junior  Service League 15th Walk 4 Life seems to be the  walk that kicks off the season of giving in the Grand Valley.

For the last 15 years, Walk 4 Life has been giving back 100 percent of the proceeds that stays in Mesa County for breast cancer awareness, education, and detection including mammograms, ultrasounds and biopsies. Scholarships are also available for the breast cancer support program for low-income, uninsured.

I encourage you to gather your girlfriends and sign up and "plaster pink" on October the 6th at the Western Colorado Botanical Gardens for the 15th Annual Walk for Life, register and find out more.
