Grand Junction’s Orchard Mesa Pool is open year-round, but with split public swim times. This means the pool offers a public swim in the late morning and evening. Lap swim starts early at 6:30 a.m. Lincoln-Moyer Pool is open Memorial Day to Labor Day. Once summer starts, both pools sync to the same hours, typically 1:30 to 7:30 p.m. Find the Orchard Mesa Pool Hours here, and the Lincoln-Moyer Pool Hours here.

Biggest Differences Between the Two Pools

The biggest difference between the two pools is that one is indoor, and the other is outdoor. Orchard Mesa is an indoor facility. They offer structured programming, which includes lessons and fitness classes throughout the day. Lincoln-Moyer is a seasonal outdoor pool built for long, relaxed summer days with fewer schedule interruptions. Between the two, it’s the traditional “summer pool day” most families are looking for.
