Amazing Old Ad for the Rocket Drive-In in Grand Junction
I have lived in the Valley my entire life. But there is still so much I don't know.
I just found out that Grand Junction was the home to a drive-in movie theatre. How did I not know this!
The Rocket Drive-In was located at 2881 North Avenue. This is definitely a place that I would have hung out at every weekend. They had an amazing selection of goodies like hot dogs, hamburger sno-cones. Not only that they had a free giant fireworks display.
This is something I wish we had in town now. Could you imagine an awesome drive-in right in the middle of Grand Junction? I would take my girls to that every weekend.
