Honesty Pays Off With Cash For A Grand Junction Busboy
A struggling Colorado busboy named Johnny Duckworth who was working discovered something big at work. What he did next paid off big for this Grand Junction Busboy.
The Daily Mail reports that Johnny Duckworth found $3000.00 in cash in an envelope while cleaning at Randy's Southside Diner here in Grand Junction.
Mr Duckworth, also known as Thumper, works hard everyday. However, he is not able to afford a car and has to ride a bike to work and even has his paycheck garnished for medical bills. Even with all this going on in his life, he still did not hesitate to hand the cash over to his boss.
The Money was taken back to the bank and eventually reunited with its owner, who gave the busboy a $300 tip.
Thumpers boss was so impressed with his honesty, that he decided to start a gofundme account to help out. The account has now raised pledges of $15,000 and counting!
Meanwhile, Mr Duckworth says he never thought of keeping the money, saying 'I work for a living.'
Thank you Mr. Duckworth for your honesty, and Christmas spirit. You are one of a kind! Merry Christmas!
