2016 presidential candidate Hillary Rodham Clinton is campaigning on the long road to the primaries, and she's focused on recasting her image.

It's a somewhat unfortunate necessity for any candidate: In theory, it's the issues and a strong track record that should matter most. But "who would you rather have a beer with?" is a long-popular question pollsters ask to gauge a politician's likability — and sadly, Americans often choose the candidate they'd like to bro down with over someone who may be more qualified but seems like a bit of a cold fish. HRC's own popularity has peaked and dipped over the decades she's spent in the public eye, and America is oddly behind other countries when it comes to electing female leaders. Needless to say, Team Hillary has their work cut out for them.

Which brings us to the Official Hillary 2016 Playlist, created by verified Spotify user Hillary Clinton. Her account has 517 followers, which seems a bit low — but then, her only Recently Played Artist is vintage funk band The Meters. It's all about engagement with these social apps, Hillary! Just ask Barack Obama, who has five mixes compiled by his social media team and over 413,000 followers.

So: How are Hillary's choices? Well, the overarching theme is "safe." Every candidate is striving for broad appeal as they hustle their way toward Iowa, and what better song to soundtrack that journey than "Roar" by Katy Perry? If you're a Sara Bareilles fan who's still salty over the song's similarity to "Brave," don't worry — it's on the playlist too; no splitting the vote here. Taylor Swift is conspicuously absent, though, so the former Secretary of State is clearly #TeamKaty. [Edited to add: That last part was a joke, we know Taylor isn't on Spotify and that's the real reason why (OR IS IT?)].

It would be cynical to say Hillary's courting the Hispanic vote with Jennifer Lopez's salsa-tinged "Let's Get Loud" from On the 6, but it's a deeper cut than one might expect. Pharrell's "Happy" appears, because if you don't find that song at least pleasant you're basically un-American. Ariana Grande and Zedd's "Break Free" is a rally-ready EDM anthem, and it's easy to imagine Hillary jumping up and down while doing air-karate in the mirror to Kelly Clarkson's "Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You)". In fact, her team would love for you to imagine that, because it only makes her more accessible.

There are few surprises in the mix — the only true curve ball is the lighthearted "Pumpin Blood" from Swedish indie pop trio NoNoNo. Maybe she got a recommendation from Chelsea?

You can listen to Hillary's hot mix here, and if you don't have Spotify the track list is below. When Jeb Bush shares a Tidal exclusive list of straight-grimy hip hop bangers, we'll let you know.
