Get ready! Grand Junction's spring cleaning starts in a couple of weeks.

With warmer weather comes, Grand Junction's annual 'Spring Clean Up.' We're giving you the heads up now so you can start going through your stuff and decide what goes in the 'keep' or 'throw away' piles.

Residents can start setting items out on your curb as early as March 25th. However, the pickup dates aren't until April. For those living on the north side of North Avenue, pick up begins on April 8th. For those on the south side, your curb pick begins on April 15th.

The City of Grand Junction is asking too that you please not set anything on the curb before March 25th. It's understandable that you may have some things you need discarding but leaving stuff out for too long can create other problems. Other tips to remember, 1) Have your items out no later than 7 AM on Monday of your clean-up week. 2) Place only the items from your household, on the curb, in front of your house 3) Place items in front of your address 4) Keep all debris separate from household trash containers and other items.

Also too, this service is for Grand Junction residents only. If your home isn't within the city limits your clutter will not be picked up. For a list of what not to set out and other helpful tips, click HERE.
