In today's world. There are so many different variables when it comes to the safety of Grand Junction Kids. The Grand Junction Police want to talk about it.

According to KKCO, the Grand Junction Police Department would like to talk to parents and kids alike about the pressures of sex, drugs and alcohol and offer assistance with something that can be terrifying for parents to say to their kids, and even more difficult for kids to listen to.

The Grand Junction Police department says that sexual assault is often linked to drug- and alcohol involved situations. Peer pressure can be extremely tough on kids, and it is important that parents know how to open up the dialog and conversation.

The Grand Junction Police are working with parents and their teens, to help kids of all ages to stand up and be strong, and giving tips to keep our youth safe.

“Sex Assault: A Frank Discussion” is the name of the discussion. It will be held at the  Grand Junction Police Department coming up next week on Wednesday the 6th of April. Parents and kids are asked to reserve a spot by calling (970)549-5114.
