Grand Junction Hospital Receives Numerous Donations
A hospital in Grand Junction has received numerous, generous donations during the coronavirus pandemic. The hospital has received food donations, masks, and more.
It's amazing the see the community step up in a time of need. A local hospital has received numerous donations during the coronavirus pandemic. Here are some of the things that have been donated to Community Hospital in Grand Junction.
Food Donations
Community Hospital in Grand Junction has received multiple food donations. The Grand Junction hospital received sandwiches from Subway this past week.
Cookies cakes were also donated to Community Hospital this week from the City Market on 24 Road. The icing on the cakes said things like 'thank you for everything that you do for our community' and 'you make a difference.'
Masks + More
Grand Valley Power donated close to 500 masks to Community Hospital. Over 12 employees and family friends helped sew them. The Grand Junction hospital also received some 'ear savers' which keeps the elastic the back of ears, which were made by two local brothers, Jacob and Stanley.
Community Hospital is very thankful for all of the generosity and support they have received and stated on their Facebook page 'we will get this together.'
