Grand Junction High School’s ALT Program Visits Mix 104.3 [VIDEO]

Michael Poland, Ben Arja and Jesse Esqueda who are a part of Grand Junction High School's Advanced Leadership Team - ALT for short stopped by Mix 104.3's studio today to discuss their awesome program.

ALT is a school organization that helps new students become acclimated to the new surroundings of the High School. This helps the new students feel more comfortable and welcomed into what can be a very scary experience for new students.

ALT is holding a fundraiser on Monday February 9 at McAlister's to raise money to support this organization. There will be delicious food, and helping kids to find their place in school.

I want to say it was a pleasure to meet Michael, Ben, and Jesse! They are upstanding high school mentors who serve with others in this amazing endeavor to make kids feel at home while at school!
