Grand Junction Colorado Wants These TV Shows Back On The Air
I asked on social media, "What TV show should never have been canceled?" Responses out of Grand Junction, Colorado included TV shows out of five different decades. Here's what you had to say.
One would never guess so many people loved the show Firefly. It appears as though Last Man Standing had a strong following, too. We want these shows back.
It Must Really Stink To Get Canceled
I have a hard time wrapping my head around the idea of a TV show getting canceled. Imagine waking up one day to discover the TV gig you've been working on for three years has suddenly evaporated. Can you imagine the day the cast of the original Star Trek got word the show would not return for a fourth season? It probably wasn't long before crews went in and started to dismantle and strike the sets. Little did anyone know the show would soon become a cultural icon.
Some Shows Simply ... End
A few people mentioned Friends. As I recall, that show reached the end of its run, wrapping up with a huge finale. The same could be said for Star Trek: The Next Generation or the Tonight Show with Johnny Carson. Those shows were neatly wrapped up after their full run.
Airing Things Out of Order
There are two shows on this list that suffered, in my opinion, due to being aired out of sequence. Both Star Trek: The Original Series and Firefly were aired out of sequence, leaving viewers a little confused. While this decision may not be responsible for sealing their doom, it certainly didn't help.
