Celebrate Girl Scout Day 2015

Oh yes! It is Girl Scout Cookies time and today (March 12) is National Girl Scout Day! Can you believe that the Girl Scouts began way back in March of 1912? It happened in Savannah Georgia, and there were 18 girls present, for you history buffs.

Today the Girl Scouts have over 3.2 million members strong and Grand Junction is celebrating all weekend long.

Grand Junction Girl Scout troops will be at local Walmart and at Safeway locations giving us the opportunity to get a hold of all that delicious cookie goodness!

If you have a major craving you can always run by our local Girl Scout office on 241/2 Road in Grand Junction to get your cookies.

Take the time to say "awesome job!" and enjoy some cookies at the same time!
